I've got 1 vial rack filled and another half full right now. And some (particularly black inks) I haven't gotten around to even trying yet. Some inks are in-between - I'm still trying to make up my mind (or they're okay but only okay). As in RIGHT NOW (and what do you MEAN it's out of stock? When is it coming back in? Some inks (La Reine Mauve - I'm talking to YOU!) I'm SOOO happy that I only blew a $1.25 on. Sometimes the samples make me really really want a bottle. Or I want to compare ink A to ink B for color/behavior/water resistance.
My problem with the Ink Drop is that I wouldn't have time to try everything before the next batch arrived! So instead, I just order ink samples as the fancy strikes (or the review scans make my mouth water - there are just too many enablers on this site!). The color reminds me a bit of a slightly lighter, less intense Sheaffer Blue.Feathers a bit and is currently inked up in my Jinhao 159 (which is a real gusher, so I'm not sure whether or not I can really fault it.) It has slightly stained the vial it came in, makes me wonder how easily it cleans. It is a medium to dark blue, but it depends on the flow of the pen. It will be interesting to see whether this cleans or not. Are these offers and discounts something that may benefit my order The reason I ask is my 'inkdrop' is processing so. That all being said, it stained the hell out of the vial. One of the additional perks is 'special offers and discounted products' I placed the ink drop order solo and was preparing to place a separate order. Not much feathering, and I have been looking for a green like this for a while. Have it inked up in my Sheaffer 100 right now. Definitely my favorite color of the drop. Feathers a little on copy paper, but not badly. I didn't think I would, but it looks really nice inked up in my Pilot Metropolitan. Not a bad ink, I just have zero use for such a purple (or any purple really.) Ended up giving it to a friend who I KNEW would love it. The most purple purple I have ever seen in my life.In a wetter pen, the color isn't bad per say (not my cup of tea) and it feathers a lot. It drips off the inside of the vial insanely easily, so I think the phobia of the plastic MAY be causing the flow issues. Can't get it to write decently in my Jinhao 159.
So, I don't really have any ideas as to what the inks are.
